Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise unveils OmniVista Terra for advanced network management

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise introduces OmniVista Terra, offering combined on-premises and cloud capabilities for comprehensive network management and enhanced operational efficiency.

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE), a pioneer in secure networking solutions, is set to launch OmniVista® Terra, an innovative on-premises Network Management System (NMS). This solution brings extensive visibility and control, empowering organizations to efficiently manage their networks with security and scalability.

OmniVista integrates artificial intelligence to simplify day-to-day operations and optimize network performance by introducing a AI-chatbot interface. This interface allows administrators to employ natural language processing for real-time responses to network inquiries, configuration guidance, and troubleshooting support. By boosting operational efficiency, ALE’s IT teams swiftly resolve issues and enhance incident management, thanks to OmniVista Network Advisor.

With advanced analytics, OmniVista Terra provides profound insights into network performance and user behavior. It delivers real-time quality of experience data and historical analysis, streamlining the identification of network issues. This next-generation solution simplifies the oversight of complex network environments and synergizes with security and Private 5G solutions like Versa and Celona, thereby offering unified control.

OmniVista Terra complements the cloud-based OmniVista Cirrus, presenting identical features in a locally hosted environment. Together, Terra and Cirrus form a consolidated suite, harmonizing ALE switches, wireless access points, IoTs, Celona Private 5G, and Versa SD-WAN under a unified management system. This ensures consistent security and centralized control, ideal for sectors requiring localized control like government and regulated industries.

“ALE OmniVista platform is the cornerstone of our strategy to unify, simplify and automate the AI powered operations of the entire infrastructure. OmniVista Terra extends the benefit of unmatched network visibility, control and security to on-premises deployment” said Stephan Robineau, EVP of ALE's Network Business Division.
