The collaboration highlights the introduction of Zayo's 400GE enabled wavelength network to the Iberian Peninsula, broadening its Tier-1 IP services into Portugal and further Spanish regions.
Carriers and enterprises in Iberia can now leverage Zayo's network, which connects over 600 data centres across Europe. The partnership seeks to provide low-latency, high-capacity connectivity within Iberia, linking significant business locations such as Madrid, Lisbon, Barcelona, Bilbao, and Sines.
This network expansion hopes to not only enhance diversity and reduce deployment times but also strengthen connectivity options for enterprises and carriers throughout the region. Covering over 3,500km of fibre within Iberia, Zayo’s network facilitates aims for seamless data centre-to-data centre connectivity, expedites cloud adoption, and supports high-performance data management.
