11:11 Systems has acquired Digital Sense, a Brisbane-based cloud and managed services provider previously owned by Aussie Broadband. The move expands 11:11’s presence in the APAC region and adds to its portfolio of managed infrastructure capabilities.

The transaction follows recent changes to the VMware Cloud Service Provider ecosystem introduced by Broadcom, which have reduced and optimised the number of authorised partners. In parallel, Aussie Broadband’s “Look-to-28” strategy reflects a clearer focus on telecommunications, leading to the decision to divest its cloud business. The transition is intended to ensure customers continue to access VMware-based cloud infrastructure under new ownership.

Brett Diamond, CEO of 11:11 Systems, noted Digital Sense’s established position in delivering cloud services within Australia. The acquisition integrates the business into 11:11’s platform and extends its customer base in the region.

Over recent years, 11:11 Systems has completed multiple acquisitions in the VMware ecosystem, including iland Cloud and Green Cloud Defense. Digital Sense represents its seventh acquisition of a former VMware Cloud Service Provider and contributes to its broader expansion strategy.

Marc Beder, General Manager, APAC at 11:11 Systems, stated that the acquisition strengthens the company’s footprint in Australia and supports its ability to deliver cloud services across the region.

11:11 Systems operates a global cloud platform with a partner-focused model that includes cloud infrastructure, connectivity, backup, disaster recovery and security services. The acquisition aligns with broader changes in the partner ecosystem expected through 2027. Aussie Broadband has indicated that divesting its cloud operations allows it to concentrate on its telecommunications business, while customers transition to continued support under 11:11 Systems.
