Antin Infrastructure Partners has completed its acquisition of NorthC Datacenters, a data centre platform in Northwest Europe, from DWS and other minority stakeholders. Headquartered in Amsterdam, NorthC operates a network of 25 data centres located in key metropolitan areas across The Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland.
The NorthC platform has over 140 MW of secured gross grid capacity across existing facilities and greenfield developments. Under DWS ownership, NorthC expanded from 10 to 25 facilities, serving clients across multiple industries, including public and semi-public organisations.
Under Antin’s ownership, NorthC plans further expansion, with new data centres scheduled to begin construction this year in Frankfurt, Basel, and Geneva.
Alexandra Schless, NorthC's CEO, noted the growth achieved under DWS and highlighted plans to develop the platform further in the Benelux and DACH regions, responding to demand for AI inference workloads and enterprise digital transformation.
Antin Infrastructure Partners’ Managing Partner, Stéphane Ifker, and Partner, Maximilian Lindner, indicated their intent to support NorthC’s expansion and modernisation efforts, emphasising the role of regional colocation in Europe’s digital infrastructure.
